Graduates of the Marital and Family Therapy program at Bethel leave ready to serve individuals, couples, and families as licensed therapists in a number of settings, including:

• Private practices
• Community mental health centers and clinics
• State agencies
• Other professional organizations or agencies

Many graduates also choose to earn additional credentials in family life education, preparing them for service in faith-based organizations or ministry settings, including:

• Family ministries within churches
• Parish-based counseling practices
• Parachurch or pastoral counseling agencies
