Program Details
Bethel Seminary of the East offers the Master of Divinity program through teaching centers in New England and Washington D.C.
Courses are offered through our residential program, which combines residential, hybrid, and fully distance courses. This innovative course delivery model makes seminary education more accessible and lets you experience a variety of learning styles and activities.
The Master of Divinity degree requires 144 quarter hours of course work. Sample courses include:

In selected pastoral theology and communication courses, students complete a Guided Learning Experience (GLE), which synthesizes learning and practice. Under the supervision of professors and local ministry mentors, students integrate their classroom learning with tangible ministry practice. The GLEs are the equivalent of a ministry practicum.
