In the Master of Arts program at Bethel Seminary of the East, we prepare whole leaders to serve with compassion from a solid theological grounding. Students find our programs convenient, allowing them to say involved in their current ministry, and geared for their work with urban populations.

 Here are a few highlights of the program:

• Accessible programs. We bring seminary to you through 2 teaching centers in the heart of the Northeast—conveniently located so our students can earn their degree while they remain embedded in their ministry.

• Urban-focused mission. Our mission is to serve the urban centers of the Northeast. We love the city, and we’re passionate about preparing men and women to lead and serve with excellence in the urban setting. 

• Church-oriented. We partner with local churches—our teaching centers are located in church buildings. Through this unique model, students learn to lead in the context of a living, growing congregation.  

• Blend of delivery models. Courses range in their delivery models to make education more flexible for busy students. In fully distance courses, students complete their course work and collaborate with classmates online. New hybrid courses combine video conferencing and online interactions with classroom sessions to give students a variety of learning experiences.
