We know our students are busy balancing family, ministry, and community responsibilities before they even enter seminary. The M.A. in Ministry Practice gives them the flexibility to choose a delivery option that fits their needs.
Evening Program Option
Our SemPM program uses a cohort approach to education where students meet on Monday nights and move through their courses with the same group of peers. Most courses are 7 weeks long.
The M.A. in Ministry Practice offered through SemPM has a concentration in Congregational Leadership.
Daytime Program Option
The traditional daytime format is for students who prefer to meet during the day for classes that extend over the course of a semester.
Distance Learning Option
The InMinistry Distance Learning format is our innovative way of delivering seminary education for those working in ministry who can't commute to the St. Paul campus on a weekly basis.
Students take a mix of fully online and hybrid courses. Our hybrid courses blend online coursework with a weeklong residential intensive held on campus in St. Paul.
