Why Theological Studies at Bethel
The M.A. (Theological Studies) at Bethel Seminary gives students a broad and adaptable foundation for serving through their ministries and daily lives. Here are a few highlights of the program:
- Schedule options. Students can choose the program structure that meets their needs whether they prefer to take multiple classes during the day or to progress through the program 1 night a week with the same group of peers.
- Customization. Students can substitute a number of denominationally required courses for other courses in the degree. They can also tailor the program to their ministry interests through a number of program concentrations.
- Flexibility in ministry role preparation. We prepare leaders to adapt the skills they gain to a variety of ministry roles and settings.
- Three centers approach. All programs at Bethel produce well-rounded leaders due to our emphasis in 3 key areas: biblical and theological foundations, spiritual and personal formation, and transformational leadership.
