![]() Michael Herbert Michael Herbert has been the New York center director since July 2007. He was born in London of Barbadian and Trinidadian parents. He has also lived in Barbados, West Indies. He graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a BBA in Accounting and from Bethel Seminary of the East with a Master of Divinity. Michael and his family moved to New York City in August 1999 to serve as pastoral staff for a multiethnic church plant in Harlem, N.Y. He has had extensive ministry and marketplace work experience as an assistant pastor, campus minister, auditor, and manager. Before
working for Bethel Seminary, he was the director of compliance with the
Princeton Review SES department in Manhattan, N.Y. In his spare time
Michael enjoys doing Pilates and cooking (with his wife Sonja),
reading, weight lifting, and bicycle riding with his kids. |

Noel
currently serves as the center director for Bethel Seminary of the East
in New England, and is also an adjunct faculty member at Eastern
Nazarene College and the University of Phoenix. He came to Christ
through the influence of a chaplain, after being wounded in action
during an army tour in Vietnam. His undergraduate studies were
completed at Gordon College, and he received a Masters in Religious
Education at Gordon-Conwell Seminary. Noel
has served in youth ministry and as an associate pastor in four New
England churches. He also worked as a corporate chaplain before
accepting a position with Eastern Nazarene College, Adult Studies. Noel
is passionate about presenting to others reasons and evidence for
belief in Christ, and how Christianity answers the perennial
philosophical questions of life. Noel and his wife, Ingelise, reside in Grafton, Mass., and have three grown children and two grandchildren, all living in the Boston area. |
