Andrew Garbers

Database Coordinator/Research Assistant

In this position Andrew will be the information systems contact/liaison for Seminary Admissions. His role consists of managing the website, leading the transition from Banner to AdmitGold, and working to ensure data integrity within the Seminary Admissions office. Andy’s position also will include miscellaneous research projects and coordinating the director’s schedule.

Andy comes to us with several years of IT experience. Before working at Bethel he worked at a company where he bought and sold IT hardware. Before the world of hardware, Andy had several years of experience selling security software to schools and businesses. Andy gained this knowledge and experience from his education at the great and wonderful University of Wisconsin–Stout where he studied and received a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Information Technology. Andy grew up in the La Crosse, Wis. area, but don’t worry, he’s not a Packers fan. Andy is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity here at Bethel Seminary. When Garbers is not studying or working with his church, he enjoys attending concerts, theater, and Minnesota Wild games, running, skiing – both water and snow, and playing most any sports.
