Degree:
M.A. in Theological
Studies, Bethel Seminary
B.A. in History, Bethel University
Hometown:
Chicago, Ill.
My favorite things about Bethel Seminary:
The
faculty and staff are among the best parts of Bethel Seminary. They want you
to succeed in what you are called to do. I also love sitting on the seminary
patio looking at the lake when it is not -10 degrees outside.
My favorite Twin Cities/Minnesota sites:
Lake Harriet. Mississippi River. The Independent. Manny's. Murray's. Lord Fletcher's. Minneapolis Institute of Art.
Williams Arena. And most of all Chris & Rob's Chicago Style Eatery (formerly
Joey D's).
Before working at Bethel:
Before
becoming the trans-regional director of admissions and recruitment, Joseph
served as the director of admissions and recruitment for Bethel Seminary for
four years. Prior to that role, he was the associate director of recruitment
for Bethel Seminary’s Leadership Vision initiative. He also served two years as
a legislative correspondent for former U.S. Senator Rod Grams in Washington, D.C.,
and was community ministries director for a church in the Twin Cities.
Joseph is a Clifton StrengthsFinder coach and enjoys working with students and organizations to help them maximize their strengths. Joseph coaches volleyball both collegiately for the College of St. Catherine and at the junior olympic level for Minnesota Select. He is an avid runner and really enjoys hanging out with his wife Danielle.
