Hometown:
That’s a hard one…I’ve lived in
about 25+ houses, but (with the exception of three) they have all been in the Twin Cities area and I am a lover of Minnesota and Minneapolis, where I
currently reside.
My favorite things about Bethel Seminary:
This
one is easy. The focus on integration and the firm belief that we are here to
foster the development of whole and holy leaders who are transformed by the love
and gospel of Jesus Christ. Couldn’t imagine anything better than that. I love
it here.
My favorite Twin Cities/Minnesota sites:
The
North
Shore—backpacking along
it or hiking anywhere else in the state. Uptown and the Lakes Area. Minneapolis and all of its
varied neighborhoods. The Guthrie Theater. Bethel Seminary and the whole of
Bethel
University. Any place
outside, or a great restaurant enjoyed with friends or
family.
Before working at Bethel:
I attended the University of Minnesota and worked as a junior high youth group associate pastor. I also lived in Nashville, Tenn., where I pursued a career in the music industry but then realized that I needed
to come home and go to Bethel Seminary to pursue vocational
ministry.
Now, working as the associate director of admissions and recruitment at Bethel Seminary, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, hiking, running, kayaking, eating good food, speaking to groups of all sizes, and savoring life. I am passionate about being part of the transformation of others' lives and am looking forward to connecting with you soon!
