My favorite things about Bethel Seminary:
My favorite thing about Bethel Seminary has got to be the diversity found throughout our community. The faculty, staff, and student body are made up of women and men from around the world, representing diverse backgrounds, and serving in many different denomination and theological traditions. It is such a great reminder of the diversity within God’s Kingdom and it prepares our students to do ministry in a shrinking world.
My favorite San Diego sites:
Hiking Cowles Mountain. Hanging out at La Jolla Shores. Wasting the day at Balboa Park or the San Diego Zoo. Admiring the city skyline from Coronado. Catching a game at Petco Park. Eating anywhere that serves a great carne asada burrito. And any day I can get up to the local mountains is a good day!
Before working at Bethel:
I served churches in the San Diego area in various ministry positions, most recently as a youth pastor. Before that I was a Food Network wannabe. I attended culinary school and worked for some of San Diego’s best restaurants and catering companies for a while.
