My favorite things about Bethel Seminary:
I love the diversity that Bethel allows to flourish. I absolutely love people and think that Christian organizations should do their best to foster their communities to look like God's new community—people from all races, backgrounds, and cultures. I love that Bethel brings the multicultural piece front and center. You never know who you will meet and how your life will be changed, both student and professor alike.
My favorite Twin Cities/Minnesota sites:
My husband and I live in Uptown and absolutely love it! We love walking, biking, and riding our moped around town. We love to spend time at Lake of the Isles, whether it is going for a run, kayaking, or just spending time on the lake having a picnic and reading. We love Amore Victoria—it is our favorite place to eat. We love to spend time in independent coffee shops and little hole-in-the-wall restaurants. I love shopping the vintage circuit. There are so many consignment/vintage boutiques in Minneapolis that I frequent. Mostly, we love connecting with people and learning the stories of their lives…and having lots of dinner parties!
Before working at Bethel:
I currently teach as an Adjunct Instructor at North Central University in the Bible and Theology Department. I also serve on the advisory board of Bridging the Gap, the Assemblies of God women’s organization for the state of Minnesota.
