Edrin jokes that he’s a typical seminary student. Truth is, he’s a born leader with an intent desire to use his gift. “My primary calling is to pastor a local church; that is step one for me.”

After moving to Minnesota from South Carolina with his wife in 2005, he started volunteering at a church’s youth group, and it wasn’t long before he became the Youth & Children Coordinator. All of this afforded him some wonderful experience with young people, and got him thinking further about how to minister to them. “Somewhere down the road, I’d hopefully like to start an all boys school for African Americans – some type of Christian academy.”
