Bethel Seminary San Diego
John R. Lillis
I have long known that Bethel Seminary San Diego is a special place. That was recently confirmed in an unexpected way by the following note I received from a cinematographer who helped us put together the latest promotional video for the seminary.
“Bethel is a wonderful training ground for followers of Christ who want to see real growth and progress toward serving God effectively in all walks of life. Bethel seems to have a crystal clear sense of mission and purpose. It is energizing to be with believers who focus their heart, mind, and strength on major life-changing principles from God’s Word instead of getting bogged down with minor issues that make for spirited debates, but not for spiritual growth. ‘Mind-Heart-Hands’ isn’t just a slogan at Bethel…I can’t tell you how grateful I am that the Lord allowed me to be part of this.”
This individual, who had never visited us before, experienced in one day of filming the reality of all that makes Bethel Seminary San Diego a unique and exciting place to prepare for ministry. He found that faculty, staff, and students at Bethel share a passion to impact the world in a significant way for the Lord Jesus Christ. In this issue of Bethel Southwest, we provide a glimpse of how God is enabling us to accomplish that.
