P.M. Breakout Session - Family Challenges

Problem Sexuality: Guidance, Hope, and Recovery

This workshop will provide practical information and resources on how to best assist individuals, couples, and families who are struggling with problematic sexual behavior. The focus of the workshop will be on the hope and recovery that is offered through the process of dealing with these challenging issues.

Presenter: Elizabeth Griffin

Elizabeth Griffin, M.A., is a licensed marriage and family therapist with more than 25 years of experience. She lectures and consults nationally on the assessment and treatment of problematic online sexual behaviors, sexually compulsive behaviors, and sexual offending behaviors as well as issues related to online safety for children and teens.

She has co-authored a book with Patrick Carnes and David Delmonico entitled In the Shadows of the Net: Breaking Free of Compulsive Online Sexual Behavior, as well as a workbook entitled Cybersex Unhooked. She is owner of Internet Behavior Consulting, a company specializes in education, assessment and treatment of Internet issues.
