Listed below are the steps to doing research on a Biblical text or topic.  The list includes resources available at Bethel Seminary Library.

1. Use Bible Dictionaries

Bible dictionaries are organized alphabetically like encyclopedias.  They have articles on thousands of topics. Useful sources are often listed at the end of articles.

2. Search the Library Catalog

Bethel's holdings of print and non-print materials may be identified by searching the CLICnet library catalog. The catalog contains holdings information for Bethel Seminary's St. Paul, San Diego, and Seminary of the East campus libraries, Bethel University Library, and the other CLIC libraries.

You may also look for material in WorldCat. Using WorldCat, you will be able to search for material available in CLICnet and beyond. If an item is available at CLICnet, you can request the item. If it is in a library outside of CLICnet, you can access ILLiad to request it through interlibrary loan.

Please note: Some items at Bethel Seminary Library will not show up in the WorldCat search. For a complete list of library holdings, please go to CLICnet.
