Position: Team Leader/Youth Pastor
Job Description: We are really looking for someone who desires to leverage their gifts in a ministry setting of young people and who will be able to build a team around him or her that maximizes impact in the area.  This is a great learning environment.  If you have little or no experience, but know God is leading you into student ministry, this is a position worth considering. You will be responsible to: Build, lead and equip volunteer staff; Plan & coordinate weekly programs, as well as special events; Prepare students for involvement in the church; Be involved in contact work on a weekly basis; Be flexible, dynamic and creative when it comes to ministering to the unique needs of this generation of youth.
Candidate Description: The candidate must: Have a committed, vital and evident personal relationship with Jesus Christ; Adhere to the Oasis vision, mission and values and what we believe documents; Have a true call and passion to work with student’s grades 7-12; Be willing to undergo a back gourd check; Commit to 8 hours a week, for mid week meeting, contact work and monthly launch team meeting; Model the spirit and attitude of Christ in all things; Need to be a real self starter and creative in the ministry approach

Position: Youth Intern/Minister (part time)
Job Description: Under the guidance of the church pastor, a youth intern/minister will plan and implement programs for the junior and senior high youth groups, which will include Bible Study, topical discussion, group activity, inviting guest speakers, community outreach, small group discipleship, etc.  The design purpose of the program is to help the youths to develop a personal relationship (of salvation and discipleship) with the Lord, an ability to defend the Christian faith, and the leadership potentials as our Lord has gifted them. In order to develop this program well, the intern/minister is to work closely with the youths and their parents.  The youth intern/minister will communicate to parents of planned programs and invite parental support on youth activities.  The youth intern/minister will assist in the planning and program implementation of the college and young adult ministries for the church.  Efforts in this area may include on-campus visitation, program planning, Bible study, one to one discipleship, participation in prayer and planning meetings, etc.  A youth intern/minister will assist in the planning and program implementation of the junior high through young adult ministries, which include an annual short-term mission trip, church/youth retreat, and teaching Sunday School as needed.  Office hours will include one/two half-day per week.

Position: Youth Pastor (part-time)
Job Description: The position will entail overseeing the whole of ministry to the youth in the church. This involves leading weekly youth group meetings and planning youth activities, so as to lead the youth to Christ, grow them in their love for God and others, train them for service, and send them out to minister to the church family and the local community and the world. It also includes providing guidance for the youth portion of the Sunday School time. Responsibilities will require the Pastor to spend less then 50 hours for a two week period. This includes teaching preparation, contacting and meeting together with youth and leaders, attending board meetings, and leading and attending youth activities. The youth pastor will be working closely with the lead pastor and under his supervision.
