Position: Pastor, Children's Ministry
Job Description: The Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church (SCBC) is seeking a full-time Pastor, Children's Ministry with the focus of nurturing the faith development of children from infants to the 6th grade.
The Pastor of Children's Ministry will be responsible for, but not limited to: Developing and directing the vision and mission for bible-based faith development of children through discipleship, fellowship and spiritual growth programs and activities; Recruiting, leading and mentoring a multi-faceted volunteer team in planning and executing the children's programs; Engaging and interacting with children, their families, and the volunteers through shepherding, discipleship, teaching and leadership development in all aspects of the Children's Ministry.
Candidate Description: The successful candidate will be expected to have the following attributes and qualifications: Christ-centered, child-targeted and creative individual with a clear vision for the Children's Ministry and passion for leading children to connect with God; Sustained passion for serving children, parents with young children, and strong commitment to God's mission for the local church; Master of Divinity or Bachelor of Children Ministry or equivalent training; Gifted at shepherding, discipleship, teaching, and leadership development; Experience in a large church, either as an active member or in a leadership position; Experience in recruiting, equipping, and motivating adult and youth volunteers; Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to multi-task and delegate; Experience or willingness to work in a collaborative team environment; English speaking of any ethnic background; Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Position: Youth Director
Job Description: The Director of Youth Ministries at New Life Evangelical Free Church shall provide servant leadership to the youth ministry and be responsible for overseeing an adult-directed, youth-lead, ministry team to plan, implement, evaluate, and continually develop New Life’s ministry to students and their families in our community as we encourage them to become disciples who are Loving God, Loving Others, and Serving The World.
Candidate Description: 1.Biblical Studies or equivalent theological preparation preferred but not required. 2.Experience in working with a multiple staff environment would be a plus. 3.Previous youth ministry experience would be beneficial and taken into consideration during the search process. He must function well within a team setting and be collaborative, teachable, and humble in his approach to ministry. He must be a spiritually maturing man who is focused on shepherding those he leads toward wholeheartedly following Christ. He would ideally have proven skills of participating with and leading multiple people on a youth ministry team. He would possess a history of visionary leadership within the parameters of a Ministry Team.

Job Description: Work under the direction of the Session and the Pastor to support, develop and oversee children’s and youth ministries, from cradle to college. Job Description: The candidate for this position must be a follower of Jesus Christ with a strong sense of call to vocational ministry within the local church. As Associate Pastor of Family Ministries the candidate will serve alongside the Senior Pastor in providing pastoral care, counsel, Biblical teaching and leadership for the body, with particular emphasis on training, equipping and leading the children and youth ministry teams.
