Organization: Iowa Baptist Conference, 633 Dale Drive, Iowa Falls, IA 50126 Position: Church Planter Job Description: Looking for Lead Planter for the city of Fort Dodge, Iowa The NW Iowa BGC LEAD Team has begun to pray and plan for this church plant. There is not a pre-existing core group, but there are individuals from these churches that may be willing to join this new plant. The Iowa Baptist Conference and the NW Iowa LEAD Team churches are prepared to generously help fund this new church plant, yet much of the support will need to be raised by the new planter. We have coaches and training to help you raise 100% of your salary package. Responsibilities: Fund-raise, recruit a team, and start a church from the ground up. Candidate Description: We are looking for someone who: Has a heart for reaching lost people for Christ; Agrees with the BGC statement of faith; Can recruit a team to help launch the church. Can network and connect easily with people; Can start a church from the ground up; Can raise financial support; Is a strong leader; Has movement mentality (willing to be part of planting more churches); Can persevere through hard times; Loves small-town Iowa living!
