Ordained and endorsed by a religious/faith group. Education Preferred: Doctorate of Divinity. Experience Required: Three (3) years as an ACPE supervisor in a Medical Center Five (5) years preferred.

Job Description: Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI has openings for fall, winter, and spring basic CPE for seminarians. Job Description: Beginning fall 2008 two Supervisory Education Students (SES) will begin observation and co-supervision of CPE programs in VISN 23. Students enrolling in internship and residency programs may be observed or co-supervised by SES under the supervision of ACPE supervisors. The VA Midwest Health Care Network (VISN 23) ACPE System has openings for 2008 CPE Summer Internships in St. Cloud and Minneapolis, Minnesota and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Programs begin Tuesday, May 27, 2008 and conclude either August 8 or August 15, 2008.  No tuition of fees are charged.  Interns are expected to provide clinical care with veterans as part of their commitment to the educational program. Also, residencies available from October 2008 - September 2009 in St. Cloud, Minnesota and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Job Description: Roper St. Francis Healthcare offers Internships three times a year.  Full-time Internship: Spring, five days a week for 11 weeks (February-May). Full-time Internship: Summer, five days a week for 11 weeks (May-August).  Part-time Internship: Fall, two days a week for 22 weeks (September-February).  Full-time Residency: Beginning dates: June 1 and September 1, five days a week for a period of one year.  In the residency program, a student received 4 units of CPE and is provided a stipend on basis of need. Job Description: Clinical Pastoral Education within the Valley Baptist Health System at Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen provides ecumenical professional training for clergy and others who will be engaged in future ministry. The CPE program offers ACPE accredited training for Level I CPE and Level II CPE. The program offers the opportunity to integrate theology and behavioral sciences into real life situations and crisis ministry. The CPE Residency program provides a variety of ministry settings in the medical center that ensure that students receive a solid foundation of knowledge and experience for ministry in any area of an acute care medical facility. Students completing the CPE Residency receive credit for four training units of ACPE accredited CPE training that is registered with ACPE, Inc. The emphasis in the one year of CPE training is upon gaining or enhancing pastoral ministry skills while gaining an understanding and acceptance of the pastoral care-giver's unique identity. The rotation through various clinical assignments during a Residency provides Pastoral Care Residents with a variety of learning environments.
