Church: Lake Havasu Baptist Church, 2101 Palo Verde North, Lake Havasu, AZ 86404 Position: Summer Intern Job Description: The primary duties of the position are: Work with the Servant Leader (Elder) who supervises student ministries to plan all summer activities for youth and children. Continue our current Wednesday Evening Youth program for Junior High & Senior High students. Teach a Sunday School class for Junior & Senior High Students. Attend camps with elementary & youth groups. Your input will be valuable, but you will not need to plan the camps! Plan fun, creative life experiences for the summer for youth and children. We have a social team that can be asked to help with these items, if you desire. Work with team to do VBS outreach to area children, encouraging youth to serve as part of the team. Attend weekly staff meetings with the Pastor, worship leader, and support staff to coordinate events. If comfortable, may be able to preach in the Pastor's absence once or twice during the summer. Church: Edgewood Family Fellowship, 621 Edgewood Rd NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405 Position: Summer Internship Position Job Description: Edgewood Family Fellowship is seeking an individual interested in a summer internship to the Hispanic Community of Cedar Rapids. Cedar Rapids is a progressive Midwest city of 250,000+, and approximately 8% of our city is Hispanic with that number growing. We believe this is an excellent summer ministry/internship opportunity for an individual that would like to “do” ministry. An opportunity to be in on the ground floor of what we hope will be a continuing ministry. While Edgewood is not legalistic we are highly evangelistic in our ministry, a church that crosses generations well. We are non-judgmental, in that we are not concerned with where one has been, but instead leading them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ for eternity.
