2. What are the components of the Internship Experience?
3. What is expected of a Supervisor?
  • A supervisor is a ministry leader within the student’s ministry context who will observe, affirm, guide, and direct the student with regard to her/his practicum ministry. The supervisor may or may not also function as the student’s mentor.
  • Responsibilities include:

    • Interaction to form learning agreement
    • Provision of opportunities to fulfill developmental goals
    • Commitment to regular meetings with intern
    • Observation of theological integration, personal maturity, spiritual formation, and skill development 
    • Completion of supervisor evaluation form and reviewal with intern
    • Prayer for intern
    • Compensation for internship hours
