Church: Lakes Free Church, 29620 Olinda Trail, PO Box 777, Lindstrom, MN 55045 Position: Associate Pastor of Adult Ministries Job Description: The Associate Pastor of Adult Ministries shall develop, oversee and be the primary implementer of a disciple making ministry for adults which provides opportunities for evangelism, spiritual growth, fellowship and service. Major Responsibilities of the Associate Pastor of Adult Ministries: 1.Communicate a vision for disciple making at Lakes Free Church to the entire congregation. 2.Plan and carry out the Adult Ministry goals and objectives in close cooperation with the Adult Ministry Team. 3.Provide leadership and training in the areas of Adult Education and Discipleship. 4.Administer and manage the large number of volunteers who are involved in adult ministry. 5.Lead and develop a strategy to reach young adults in their 20s and 30s in our church and community. 6. Oversee and assist with the Pastoral Care Ministries such as counseling, visitation, benevolent needs, etc along with Director of Care Ministries. 7. Assist with Pastoral Duties as requested: Weddings, Funerals, Preaching, etc. Candidate Description: Personal Qualifications: 1. Evidence of a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. 2. Meet the qualifications of an Elder found in I Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and I Peter 5:2-4 3. Demonstrated ability in the areas of evangelism, discipleship and small group ministries. 4. Prefer experience in building and working with an Adult Ministry Team to carry out the adult ministry goals. 5. A seminary degree or equivalent education and experience. 6. Be in agreement with the Statement of Faith of the Evangelical Free Church of America, be willing to be licensed by the EFCA and abide by the constitution, by-laws and policies of this church. 7. Church: Morris Evangelical Free Church Morris, MN Position: Ministry Administrator Job Description: Oversee/administrate all operations of the church including facilities, property, finances, database, and budget. Assist the Sr. Pastor in overseeing ministry teams. Must work closely with the pastor in developing and implementing the overall strategy for ministry. He is expected “to equip the saints for the work of the ministry.” His emphasis therefore, should be to coordinate efforts, oversee certain ministries, and develop administrative skills and abilities in other leaders in order for them to develop their own ministry teams.
