Church: Faith Mennonite Church, Minneapolis, MN Position: Ministry Staff (part-time) Job Description: Application review will begin on: December 31, 2009. Faith Mennonite Church (FMC) seeks a person to fill a part-time (12 hours per week) Ministry Staff Position. The focus of this position is to extend the ministry of FMC into the surrounding community with a particular emphasis on peacemaking. This position will involve: 1) working with the congregation in our outreach programs with the community, for example the annual community forum, a peace-themed summer program for children, and periodic neighborhood gatherings 2) working with the FMC Missions & Service Commission to develop and implement these projects 3) working with individuals in the church to discern gifts in relationship to our outreach program 4) serving as a liaison to community organizations and churches who might be collaborators on said projects. This position will be directly supervised by the pastor and church moderator and will report to the Missions & Service Commission and the Church Council. This is a one-year position.
