Church: Woodbury Community Church 2975 Pioneer Drive Woodbury MN 55125 Position: Pastor of Worship and Outreach fulltime Job Description: The Pastor of Worship and Outreach is responsible for the overall leadership, design and implementation of Woodbury Community Church's worship ministry related to worship services, worship arts and other activities in the life of the church where music is employed. The Pastor of Worship and Outreach will provide a contemporary worship experience that communicates with today's generation. The Pastor of Worship and Outreach will personally participate in evangelism ministry, train and equip others to evangelize, and provide overall impetus for evangelism ministry, with the goal that a concern for evangelism will permeate the life of the church. Duties as Related to Worship: Lead or provide a leader for Sunday morning worship services Oversee budget and expenditures for the worship ministry budget. Provide monthly reports to the Board of Elders and an annual report to the congregation. Candidate Description: Personal testimony of salvation. Sharing the vision and values of Woodbury Community Church. Spiritual maturity and the ability to positively impact others. Experience in Worship and Outreach Ministry. Baccalaureate degree. Master's degree in music and seminary education desirable. Possess the spiritual gift of evangelism. a. Ability to practice and model evangelism. b. Ability to recruit, equip and mobilize others in evangelism. c. Ability to administer the church's evangelism ministry, oversee evangelism/outreach events and involve others. Experience in music leading, program design and implementation in a contemporary worship setting in a church.
