Church: Living Pathway Church, Hudson, WI (right across the Mississippi on I-94)
Position: Youth Development Intern
Open To: Men and Women
Job Description:

  • Living Pathway Church is a church plant in Hudson, WI. It started with a few families meeting as a Bible study and has grown into a worship community of many families and individuals meeting throughout the community.
  • In the summer of 2012, we started an outreach into a neighborhood of town homes on the edge of Hudson. Because of the numbers of youth in this neighborhood who were coming to know and learn about Jesus, we began a midweek youth group for our students.
  • The pastor formed a group of student leaders who were anxious for discipleship and to learn how to share their faith with peers. Soon the group grew beyond the neighborhood as students invited their friends, and now we have a growing youth community which is now in need of additional staff/volunteers.
  • Additionally, the Sunday morning youth have continued to grow and is now beyond the resources of our parent volunteers. We are blessed to be in this phase of ministry, and want to continue to be stewards of these disciples that the Lord is releasing to us.
  • We are a member of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and oversight of the Sunday morning childrenʼs ministry
  • Coordination and oversight of other youth volunteers
  • Development of a student leadership team
  • Weekly meetings with pastor for communication and student discipleship
  • Coordinate with pastor in the leadership of the midweek youth program

Candidate Description:

  • Must be a disciple of Jesus Christ
  • Must demonstrate a genuine love and demonstrate relatable spirit with young people
  • Must show a faithful pursuit of biblical leadership characteristics (1 Tim. 3)
