  • Partner with the Worship Pastor to further develop the youth worship team
  • Manage the youth ministry budget
  • Participate in leadership meetings and other activities as requested

Candidate Description: The ideal candidate will have a contagious passion for Jesus and at least two years of experience working with youth and building leaders. This person will also demonstrate effective communication skills with both youth and adults. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Spirit-filled, Christ-centered, reverence for God
  • Strong biblical foundation
  • Genuine passion for reaching, growing, and discipling youth
  • Proven ability to develop leaders and youth through teaching and mentoring
  • Experience building and/or maintaining a thriving youth group
  • A learner, preferably with a 4-year degree

  • Administrative skills, strong computer skills preferred
  • Agreement with church doctrine
  • Biblical and theological training (current or will acquire)

  9. Work in unity with the pastoral staff to model a cohesive team.
  10.  Participate in other duties assigned by the Senior Pastor.

  1. A clear and compelling sense of call to the Gospel ministry.
  2. A passion to worship and serve God, as well as a pastor's heart to serve others. (Ephesians 4:11-13; 1 Peter 2:9, 10).
  3. The evidence of a Christ-led life. This position should be an outflow of a person's relationship with Jesus.
  4. Christian character and servant leadership as stated in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4.

  5. The ability to:

    1. model, teach, encourage and lead a multi-generational congregation to worship God.
    2. plan, coordinate, and lead worship services while being sensitive to the movement of the Holy Spirit.
