Job Description: This person will assist with our junior and senior high ministries by providing leadership and ministering the gospel to students, helping them become rooted, grow, and bear fruit as part of a gospel-centered community living each day on mission for Christ. This position is for a two or three year term, and also includes opportunities to preach and gain general pastoral ministry experience in addition to student ministry.

Candidate Description: The Student Minister holds an important shepherding role within the church, and is held to the same standard as elders. This man must therefore meet the following qualifications:

  • a personal relationship with Jesus Christ marked by spiritual maturity, humility, joy, love, prayer, and an utter dependence on the gospel of Jesus.
  • a life that accords with the character qualifications for elders laid out in I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9
  • agreement with Westgate Church's Statement of Faith
  • agreement with and desire to live out Westgate Church's Vision Statement
  • agreement with and willingness to serve in accordance with the values and philosophy of our student and family ministries

The Student Minister must be a capable leader who is organized, relates well with people, and is able to fulfill his responsibilities. He should be both a self-starter and a team player, able to work in concert with the pastoral staff and lay ministry leaders while thinking beyond the traditional youth group model and working creatively to engage students with the gospel.
The Student Minister's previous experience will likely include either an undergraduate ministry degree, 4+ years of youth ministry experience, or some combination of the two. He will preferably be enrolled in or planning to pursue a master's level degree toward a career in pastoral ministry.

Job Description: Immanuel Church in Chelmsford, MA, is seeking a full time ordained or ordainable Associate Pastor. We are an active member of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference (CCCC) and seek a candidate who will ascribe unreservedly to both our local church's Statement of Faith and that of our denomination.
Specific Duties:
The first area of focus will be adult spiritual formation and discipleship. Working in conjunction with the Spiritual Formation and Discipleship Ministry Team, the Associate will equip the Team to embrace the concept of catechesis, which we define as "intentional, systematic instruction in the faith once delivered to the saints." The Associate will work with the Ministry Team in order to:

  • Transition our adult education program from an elective-based model to that of a structured educational program.
  • Develop and implement an intentional approach to Small Groups.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of all teachers and small group leaders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An M.Div. from a fully-accredited, evangelical theological seminary
  • Ordination by an evangelical body (denomination or local church), or ordainable (preferably by the CCCC)

Candidate Description: Qualifications

Education: Masters of Divinity degree from an accredited seminary is preferred; a Bachelor or Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited Bible College or its equivalent in biblical studies is required.
Experience: three to five years experience in ministry is preferred; one to three years experience in ministry is required.

Job Description: The Position: We are seeking a Mandarin minister or ordained pastor to assist the Chinese Pastor to grow the church-wide (Chinatown and Newton) Mandarin ministry.
