Job Description: Colonial Presbyterian Church (www.colonialkc.org) a large, two site church in Kansas City is seeking a full-time Director of Children’s Ministry to serve at the Wornall (Kansas City, MO) Campus. CPC, associated with the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, is an ethnically diverse congregation with a strong emphasis on worship and mission - locally, nationally and internationally. The mission of CPC is helping people become passionate, selfless followers of Christ.
The Director of Children’s Ministry will serve under the three pastors, and alongside directors who oversee other areas of the church, intentionally building a cohesive vision for discipleship for all families, serving kids from infants to 5th graders, The DCM will also supervise a children’s ministry staff and be responsible for the administration and coordination of the children’s ministries for infants through 5th grade.
Candidate Description: Candidates applying for the position must have a college degree, a minimum of four years of children’s ministry experience in a leadership role, and a full understanding and acceptance of the history and doctrine of the EPC.
