Epikos church has a simple mission to follow Christ's command to "make more and better disciples." We aggressively pursue the lost and diligently labor with people towards continued life transformation. Our church is eight years old and has grown quickly over the last few years. We currently have two locations and five Sunday services with about 1,100 in weekend attendance. We currently have 55 small groups meeting weekly throughout the Milwaukee metro area and almost 300 volunteers serving regularly. Though we started primarily with 20 and 30-something urbanites, we have since grown into a very diverse congregation. We have people who passionately serve the needs of our city and around the world. We are developing plans for launching two more locations in the Milwaukee metro area and are partnering with a church planter to help launch a new church nearby. God has blessed us with a small but highly talented staff team. With only four full-time staff and a few support staff we are looking to hire an executive pastor to leverage the amazing things God has entrusted to us.
About the Position
The Executive Pastor runs day-to-day church operations, implements key initiatives, supervises staff, oversees financial matters, facilitates strategic planning, coordinates facility use, and provides general management. In partnership with the Lead Pastor, the Executive Pastor will provide leadership and organization to ensure the most effective ministry possible-aligned with the mission, vision, core values and goals of epikos church.

  7. Meet with the other staff weekly, providing a report of your goals, accomplishments, prayers and praises.
  8. Provide written annual report to the Elders and congregation of your accomplishments, prayers and praises.
  9. Participate in Districts (January) and Challenge/National (July) Youth Conferences.
  10. Assist in worship services of the church as directed by the Sr. Pastor.
  11. Accomplish duties as assigned by the Sr. Pastor.
