Church Leadership
Vital and growing 21st century churches value sound preaching, capable teaching, and knowledgeable pastoral care. They also demand godly, effective leadership. This track focuses on transformational leadership, the character and integrity of the leader, and associated leadership skills. Within the context of the local church and ministry agencies, this track blends ministry experience with interactive instruction to prepare Christian leaders for the new millennium.
Concentration: Organizational Systems (OS)
For persons who desire to focus primarily on developing their abilities to lead Christian congregations and organizations in change, developing a vision and strategic plan, and promoting organizational health.

Concentration: Evangelism/Discipleship (ED)
For persons who desire to focus primarily on developing their abilities to lead in the growth of the Christian community quantitatively through evangelism and qualitatively through fostering the spiritual nurture of individuals and groups.

Concentration: Faith Communication (FC)
For persons who desire to focus primarily on developing their abilities to lead through effective preaching and teaching of beliefs and practices of the Christian faith.

Generalist (G)
While students are encouraged to select an area of concentration, some may desire to take courses in several areas without specifying a particular concentration. Students must still declare a track and take three core courses in that track.
