About Bethel Seminary of the East

• Founded in 1985 by pastors to develop spiritual leaders for evangelizing the Northeast. Learn about our History of Hope.
• Multiple teaching centers from Massachusetts to Maryland
• Offers the Master of Divinity degree, Master of Arts (Theological Studies) degree, and a certificate in Theological Studies.
• Includes resident faculty plus ministry-based faculty who share current ministry practice with students
• Strongly supported by Baptist General Conference, Conservative Baptist, and other evangelical churches in the Northeast

Adult Learning Model

• Bethel Seminary of the East was designed specifically by educators for adult learners
• Unique "Guided Learning Contracts" allow each student to customize a seminary education that fits his/her needs and interests
• Students are encouraged to take charge of their own ministry preparation
• Experiences in ministry are interwoven with classroom experiences
