Bethel Seminary has a singular unifying purpose.
We want to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ among all people by preparing whole and holy persons for ministry. We do that while serving a diverse student population from coast to coast. Today, our student body comprises students from more than 50 denominations, 40 states, and nine countries.
Bethel Seminary has campuses in San Diego and St. Paul and meets in several key locations on the East Coast including Philadelphia; Washington, D.C.; New England; and New York City in Flushing, Queens. In addition, Bethel is a leader in providing accredited coursework electronically.
Bethel graduates are thoroughly prepared to reach people in culturally effective ways through a broad scope of programs including seven master’s and one doctoral degree program —all provided by a dedicated world class faculty.
Preparing for the Flood
No wooden mallets or cubit measurements here. It's a story about a guy who prepared for ministry by attending Bethel Seminary and then found himself as the founding pastor at an emerging church called The Flood. The Flood has risen quickly with more than 2,000 attendees. "I took my seminary classes the old fashioned way — right in the classroom!" says Matt.
"I enjoyed the personal interaction with Bethel professors and classmates. Just
sharing a message before your peers was challenging, but it helped me understand that it was something God had called me to."
